After using the Cybit vehicle tracking system successfully for some years in the Contract Distribution division of Welch’s Transport, all Welch’s vehicles are now equipped with the same tracking device. It allows both minute-by-minute and historical tracking of the entire fleet, which in turn allows the operational teams to plan vehicle utilization much more efficiently. Fewer miles mean less fuel and most importantly less pollution. Efficient utilization means lower costs which in turn help to sustain the most competitive rates possible for Welch’s Transport's customer base.
